School Day Off at the Zoo

Birthday Parties/ Rentals

The gazebo area of the zoo is available to rent for parties and other special events.

Summer Camps

Every year RDC offers a variety of summer camps for children of all ages. These camps are focused on some aspect of wildlife or nature and are filled with activities, games, crafts and of course seeing our animals up close!

This past year students learned about the cats that RDC home and even got to make and place some special enrichment items for the tigers and lions.

Times, ages and dates vary so please check back in the spring to learn about what RDC has to offer.

High Plains Science Camp

Every year RDC works with other local organizations to put on the High Plains Science Camp.

This week long camp is for students who are entering 4th-7th grade is held in June and each year is a new theme.
