Chimpanzees
Our recently remodeled Chimp Outpost hosts a troop of five chimpanzees: one male and four females.
Primates
RDC is home to several primates, including red-ruffed lemurs, spider monkeys, and squirrel monkeys
Birds of Prey
All birds of prey that reside at RDC were unable to be released back to the wild after suffering injuries.
Bison
Our bison herd is made up of two females, Makani and Chinook, and one male, Doc.

Bobcat
Grizzly Bear
Smokey came to us in the fall of 2017 after the loss of his mother to poaching. RDC opened his new habitat, located in the heart of the zoo, in the fall of 2020!
Macaws
In warm weather, our blue and gold macaws, Otis and Cruz, can be found in our Garden Walk. Check for them in the Discovery Building when the weather is cooler!
Reptiles
Snakes, tortoises and lizards of multiple species can be found at RDC
